HETHERWICK-PHOTOGRAPHY

I have been taking photographs since I was a teenager... first using a cheap Kodak "Instamatic" camera that I would rig with makeshift filters and glass cuttings  to achieve weird effects. Which tied in with my interest in painting at the time.  This led to a journey up through photography classes... a brief flirtation with Black & White "dark room" work ... and then on to high quality single lense reflex cameras.  I was a "Canon" guy for a couple of decades before switching to Nikon when I went completely digital.  I had already been using a Nikon slide scanner for years when I was introduced to Photoshop around 1995.   I love digital as it lets me combine my earlier fascination with painting (watercolors) with the world of photography.  I primarily photograph landscapes and nature... but also Architecture.... and  I do not take pictures of people...  nor do any people exist in my N Gauge Train layout... And I'm sure a psychiatrist could have a "field day" with such information!   ENJOY!  GH
